What is saved and shared

Your nickname, NOVA, greeting, optional region, topic and posts are public. Live chat is temporary: this tab shows up to 100 recent messages for up to 10 minutes. Refreshing clears the conversation. Ordinary live messages are not saved to the community database. Reporting a message saves a copy for review. Other community records have a private archive, and earlier archived chat records are unchanged. While your guest session is active, you can delete your own saved posts.

Other visitors can see your NOVA and position. Positions update every 5 seconds. Inactive visitors disappear after 60 seconds. Saved cards have their own label. Live chat is delivered to connected visitors. Ideas, progress and names are public. Saved flight scores show your name, distance and settings. You or a moderator can remove ideas and scores.
A cookie keeps your guest session for up to 30 days. Visit counts measure browsers. We may use salted network hashes to limit abuse. Guest join records omit raw IP addresses.

We keep reports and relevant content for review. Moderators can remove posts and restrict guest profiles. Hiding a profile applies to this browser. Moderation may take time during the beta.

Automatic translation is off. If enabled, message text goes to the translation service. Older private prototypes are stored separately.
